Installation Instructions

Note:You can be on any of the official firmwares

1.Go to About Phone and tap 7 times on Build Number to Enable Developer Options
2.Go to developer options in settings and enable USB Debugging
3.Make Sure you have ADB and Fastboot WORKING ON YOUR COMPUTER
4.Download the ROM from the given link and extract BettrStock_v1.1_LS4005_20170129.7z using  7-zip or any other utility.
5.Double click to run Install.bat from the extracted files
6.Follow on screen instructions and connect your phone to your PC via USB when prompted and allow USB Debugging in your phone when prompted to do so in your phone.
7.Choose your desired option (A or B) to Perform a clean install or to save your data and wait for the process to complete.
8.When prompted on your PC, press any key to reboot your device.
9.Unplug your device and enjoy BettrStock on your LYF Flame 6

    1. To change quick settings tiles, tap on the pencil shaped icon in notification drawer.
      I hope it will solve your problem.

  6. For all those having problems in installing FASTBOOT Drivers-

    Try these steps –
    1. Download drivers from GuyZ HackZ.
    2.Reboot your phone to Bootloader (using recovery), and connect it to PC.
    3.Open “View Devices and Printers” in Control Panel and you should see “FASTBOOT Device”. Right click on it and click Properties -> Change Settings.
    4.Now select Update Driver -> Manually Select Driver -> Have Disk
    5. Navigate to downloaded *.inf driver file in FASTBOOT folder and use it.
    6.Install the ROM again.

  11. When I go to betterrom then I click install file when I press any key and choose the option A or B and then press inter we see waiting for the device and I allow the degguing mode in developer option

  24. This is a CUSTOM ROM based on stock firmwares. Read stats carefully. And yeah, your definition for Custom ROM is wrong. You go and ask Google what a Custom ROM means. In short, it means a ROM with any customisation such that it runs better on any device. You actually are wrong here.

    1. No, you don’t need to root your phone before installing. However, after installing, you will gain root access automatically.

    2. Which option did you try?
      I can’t help if you tried B as it is clearly mentioned that it is experimental.

      However if you tried A, try to reinstall the ROM. It would be better that you provide a screenshot and tell the exact procedure you followed including details of the firmware you used before installing.
